Joker Quotes

The Joker: And... here… we... go!
The Joker: The only sensible way to live in this world is without rules!
The Joker: If you're good at something, never do it for free.
The Joker: Ooohhh. You want to play. Come on!
The Joker: You have nothing, nothing to threaten me with. Nothing to do with all your strength.

Batman: Then why do you want to kill me?
The Joker: [laughs] I don't want to kill you! What would I do without you? Go back to ripping off mob dealers? No, no, NO! No. You... you... complete me.
Batman: You're garbage who kills for money.
The Joker: Don't talk like one of them. You're not! Even if you'd like to be. To them, you're just a freak, like me! They need you right now, but when they don't, they'll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve.
Batman: Where's Dent?
The Joker: You have all these rules, and you think they'll save you.

Gambol: You think you can steal from us and just walk away?
The Joker: Yeah.

The Joker: Why don't we cut you up into little pieces and feed you to your pooches? Hmm? And then we'll see how loyal a hungry dog really is. It's not about money... it's about sending a message. Everything burns!

The Joker: You and your kind, all you care about is money. This city deserves a better class of criminal. And I'm gonna give it to them!

Two-Face
: It was your men, your plan!
The Joker: Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it. You know, I just... do things. The mob has plans, the cops have plans, Gordon's got plans. You know, they're schemers. Schemers trying to control their little worlds. I'm not a schemer. I try to show the schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are. So, when I say... Ah, come here.
[takes Dent's hand into his own]
The Joker: When I say that you and your girlfriend was nothing personal, you know that I'm telling the truth. It's the schemers that put you where you are. You were a schemer, you had plans, and look where that got you.
[Dent tries to grab the Joker]
The Joker: I just did what I do best. I took your little plan and I turned it on itself. Look what I did to this city with a few drums of gas and a couple of bullets. Hmmm? You know... You know what I've noticed? Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a gang banger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all "part of the plan." But when I say that one little old mayor will die, well then everyone loses their minds!
[Joker hands Two-Face a gun and points it at himself]
The Joker: Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos? It's fair!

Thin line between Optimism and greed

A lots of talk these days on greed...media , politicians ,investors blamed anyone who wants to earn(more) money as greedy.Being an Indian myself I have been told to dream within my limits and being laughed at whenever I fall chasing a dream. We have to check our dreams every time whether its greed or optimism. Trying to classify greed and optimism from the things happening around us.we can come up with two scenarios

1. People who wants to make a change in society and in their economical situation by doing something good. An entrepreneur. They are heroes with a purpose. They are in a game where loss is definite if don't play it right. But they are not afforded to think about loss.Being optimistic is their mantra. The mind will not look at the worst case.In this race many fail some thrive and show a figure of heroism and optimism. Being in bad economical times talk about the fallen one..
From spiritual perspective the person could have lived better without an optimism. Did his optimism killed his dream? will the societycall it a greed. Society will not call it a greed but they will suppress their optimistic thoughts.

I can see a 85 year old woman optimistic of getting a date and getting married in America, is this greed? she is just trying to live better and happier. She might not be successful, but her intentions are good..being happier sophisticated and do what she feels good for her.

So optimism with good intentions are fine?
There is a scenario of "good to one, worst to another"..Hmm I have to write separately about this..

2. People who wants to just earn money. Whatever it costs? We know a lot about these sect of people We categorized them as bad and segregated them from society. But the normal man like me and other guy driving near to me in a nice suit has the same intentions to earn money(greed) by any means, suppressed deep inside due to fear of society. We cannot show our greed openly.
So banks and monetary inventors came up with different schemes and policies which can feed these people and in turn feed them.

These sub-prime, options, ponzi everything are the same. These are the options you have to earn without doing nothing. No sweat, no headbanging put money and the guy for who you give the money (banks or corporations) will do anything just to make profit for you. Anything in the sense to change government policies, depleting natural resource of a country, making slave workers in other countries, supply arms to spoil the stability of a region..literally anything for you. Now YOU don't have to take the blame for these bad stuff happening, because these deeds are hidden behind the schemes.

You do nothing, and you will be cause of some destruction and you act like there is no connection between you and these..and you want only profit..no way...this is greed and you have to pay the price and if you fall the society will not look at you as a hero, rather a greedy failure.

Cricket's Priority

Nice quote from cricinfo.com ....

"The first testicular guard was used in cricket in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974. It took 100 years for men to realize that the brain is also important!" The species has to continue even if produces mad people. I think the priority is perfectly fine!"

Really good one...

Fallen hero or going through a tough time

I think everyone respects although not loves Federer..but recently well after Nadal's rise something happened to him..and its hurts him a lot.
I believe its not his fall rather he is facing a tough opponent..Infact Nadal is future..perhaps Federer has to accept his second place. I dont want to see Federer come back to fame again as Nadal changed the game forever.
I will be really surprised if Federer surpases Nadal..until Federer accepts this reality these things will continue and world will look at him sadly as a fallen hero...

Not enough blood to mind...

I started listening to local talk radio in SF whenever got a chance to drive... its lot informative than listening to music..

I heard this today "A woman seeking legal advice to get divorce from her partner whom she met and got pregnant at jail!!!#!!"...howz tht?..the story goes like this she is a consultant for drug and alcoholic addicts in jail and found a crap guy charming there and got pregnant. Well that too happened in jail itself. The guy is so quick..

Now there is a side story to this...after that she found that she didnt have a legal divorce from her former husband...then this jail guy got out of jail started beating her and went back to jail.

The talk show conductor put it "God gave us a penis and a brain, but not enough blood to use both at the same time" - Robin Williams
In this case its the woman...

Richdog Slumdog

Slumdog millionaire - movie about the slum of India.. Slum and poverty are more marketable abroad than Gandhi and software.
I saw this movie in US. I dragged my wife to this movie saying that the movie is about India and for sure it will get this year's
Oscar. Later she confirmed that for sure since the protogonist kid fell into shithole. Exceptional logic indeed, but it works.

I really enjoyed the movie and it is one of the best movie about India. It is an Indian restaurant owned by white man, well marketed.
Screenplay and soundtrack are exceptional.

Movie about slumdog for richdogs...

Recently read the people who live in the actual slums shown in the movie, didnt like it. Afterall they dont want to see their reality to
be an entertainment. 'Slumdog a hit abroad for the same reason...
