Hiking - ed Levin county park - 21-may-11

Planned to start hiking at 6 am , too early for me especially after a good party the night before..
My Hiking partners already been there and the pictures they took are cool..

I started from my home only at 6 leaving my hiking partners waiting... Ed levin is more a picnic , fishing and para-gliding destination in bay-area than a hiking destination..

Entrance to the park will open only at 8, so we parked at the golf course nearby and started the hike, there are few trails most of it starts with no inclination and more inclined with narrow trails as we go near the hills.. if you target to reach the monument peak it will be streanous equal or more than mission-peak..

the trail is blocked by unlocked gates which i think is for separating animals living there.. dont get disappointed by those gates just open and go ahead.. unlike mission-peak it has lot of shadows to cool-off and a very small water stream created a good ambience..

rest room is only at the base near lake, pretty ok..
for photography ... variety of birds, view of city, bay and ofcourse the trail and the hills...

I would rate 7.5/10 for fun and difficulty.. very nice hike for a sunny-day..
